Membership Status

Association Membership must be current at time of registration and each individual's benefits must be activated on their  registration date to qualify for NAYDO Member Rates. 

NAYDO Conference Financial Assistance Program

NAYDO, the North American YMCA Development Organization, is committed to enhancing the professional education of individuals in the area of philanthropy. NAYDO has established a financial assistance program to assist in attending the annual NAYDO conference on YMCA Philanthropy.

What the Registration Fee Covers

Registration fees cover program and production costs, facility rental, mobile app access, AV, internet access, participation in the Philanthropy School Fundamentals, Sponsor Showcase, General Sessions, Educational Workshops, Network Events, Hot Topics, Special Sessions, Philanthropy Live! projects.

The following MEALS are also  covered by the registration fee include:

  • Wednesday- Opening Reception and Network Experiences
  • Thursday- Continental Breakfast  and Lunch
  • Friday - Continental Breakfast and Lunch and enough food at the Closing Party for a light dinner 

SPECIAL MEAL NEEDS:  If you have medically-based meal restrictions, be sure to include specifics on your registration no later than March 15

Payment Information
Methods:  Credit card, Check payable to NAYDO, Wire Transfer

Payment In full with one exception:
Deposit with Balance Due in January 2025 - This option not available after 10/30

  • Minimum of $100 non-refundable deposit is required at time of registration to secure each space and ensure lowest rate.
  • If you register early and pay only the $100 deposit per person by October 30, 2024, the $700 balance can be paid by January 31, 2025. Payment can be made by check payable to NAYDO or auto charged in mid-January to the same credit card as the deposit.
  • The $100 deposit is non-refundable but is transferable to another attendee.

Registering Spaces When Unsure of Names
Want to pay the lowest rate but unsure of all the names for your delegation? There is a process for that. Simply contact Mary Zoller at info@naydo.org and request codes to use for holding spaces without names. Be sure to include TOTAL NUMBER of spaces you need. You must replace them with actual names of staff or volunteers who have activated their NAYDO member benefits by January 31, 2025. Call NAYDO Office at 504 858 3379 if you have questions.

 

Cancellation Deadline: April 15, 2025

Requests for registration cancellations must be sent to info@naydo.org no later than April 15 if a refund (minus the $100 nonrefundable deposit) is being requested. Alternatives to refunds include:
A. Transfer funds to NAYDO 2026 with these requirements:
     1. Y must remain a current NAYDO Member
     2. Same attendee must register by December 5, 2025
     3. Option not available to a space held without a specific name.
B. Subtitute another person. You can do this on your own until April 11. After that, NAYDO Office must be notified about any substitution.
 

Registration Substitutions

You can make substitutions at any time until April 11
Step 1. Click on View or Modify then select TRANSFER to change name and email.

Step 2: On new confirmation, select MODIFY to provide all other information about the substitute.

AFTER April 11, contact info@naydo.org to make a substitution. Email addresses in system on April 11 will receive the email invite for mobile app access, so NAYDO needs to handle changes from April 11 on for that reason.
 

CFRE Certification Credit

Approved conference sessions provide Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification credit. Tracking your participation is available through the event app. Visit CFRE for information on certification, and join in a session at the 2024 NAYDO Conference in Denver.

Y-USA Leadership Certification Credits 

For U.S. attendees, the NAYDO Conference earns you 16 Leadership Certification Credits. The NAYDO Conference counts as experience credit for Team Leader and Multi-team Leader Certification; as an elective for the Organizational Leader Bridge Program and counts as recertification credit for the Multi-Team and Branch Leader or Organizational Leader certifications. In order for this to show up properly on your YMCA of the USA transcript, you will need to provide on your NAYDO Conference registration form the following information: date of birth, and email address. If any items are left blank, NAYDO cannot submit your record to Y-USA. For any questions, contact leadershipcertification@ymca.net
