Zurich Classic of New Orleans - Watch It, Work It, or Both!

Fee:  $36  (includes round trip transportation to/from TPC Louisiana course in Westwego)
Advance sign-up by March 28 to volunteer. 

The Zurich Classic of New Orleans, a premier professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, is scheduled for TPC Louisiana course in Westwego April 23-29. Sponsored by the Zurich Insurance Group, the Zurich Classic is organized by the Fore!Kids Foundation whose mission is to improve the lives of children, educating their minds, and instilling in them the confidence to pursue their dreams. Since 2005, Fore!Kids has helped raise over $17 million for more than 100 charities, supporting over 200,000 children in the New Orleans area, including those we serve at the Y.

If you want to volunteer: Sign up on NAYDO Registration Form for either a Marshal or Concession shift on Friday, April 27, both of which take place from noon to the end of play (roughly 6:00 - 6:30 pm).

On-course Marshall (Holes 1-18): Provide assistance with crowd control and noise control at all tee boxes, greens and fairways, as well as heavily trafficked areas and player crossings on the course.

Concessions volunteers: Sell food and beverages to the general public and assist with back stock and organization inside the tents.

Each volunteer receives a t-shirt, hat, volunteer badge and a parking pass or NAYDO volunteer van seating. the Volunteer badge gives access to the tournament all 5 days (Wednesday - Sunday) so it could be used before or after your shift as well.

ACME Oyster House, NAYDO's Wednesday dinner option, also offers tickets that include food, beverage and air conditioned seating. Space permitting, you are welcome to ride the volunteers' van for $36 roundtrip.

NOTE: DUE TO FRIDAY also being the OPENING DAY OF JAZZFEST, LYFT and UBER as well as TAXIs will be very hard to secure.
