38TH ANNUAL NAYDO CONFERENCE ON YMCA PHILANTHROPY  APRIL 3-6  INDIANAPOLIS

Dinner Options During Conference

Here are the Host Committee’s recommendations for dinners during the conference:

Tuesday, April 2 Early Arrivals might want to consider the Fun Trolley Tour of the City & Dinner. After January 1, 2019, use this link or call 317-617-8617 to make reservations. 2018 price is $20 per adult for the tour; dinner pricing is separate. Great way to see the sights of Indy and end with dinner at The Rathskellar, located in the historic Athenaeum building, also home to the YMCA of the Athenaeum on Mass Ave. This tour operates daily and the pick up location is just a short walk from the IndyPlace hotels.

Wednesday, April 3 is the perfect time to dine with your network group or others beyond your own YMCA. Networks have the option of planning their own dinners either in advance or during the Power Hour in person on Wednesday afternoon. Check with your Network’s Coordinator(s). Remember there will be light food/snacks at the Opening Reception, the Canadian Attendees & US Attendees, Receptions, and the Under 40 Social, all of which end before dinner time.

Thursday, April 4 is the ideal night for a delegation dinner. However if your Y is not planning to do that, consider these options:

1. Go to Hot Topics Happy Hour where some of the Topic Groups will go out to dinner later that evening

2. Sign-up on the registration form for Punch Bowl Social where you can enjoy an All-American buffet dinner for $33 and then bowl or play some games in that location; it’s walking distance from hotels so you can leave whenever you are ready

3. Sign-up on registration form to join international attendees for dinner  (locations to be determined)– a great way to learn more about the Y worldwide!

Friday, April 5 is the Dallara Indy500 Factory “Victory Lap” Party sponsored by Daxko which will have heavy hors d’oeuvres that can easily serve as dinner but you can also stop by this Friday Party on your way to one of the many restaurants available in the area.
